Job summary

You will provide technical leadership, coach staff, and coordinate staffing with HR. Responsibilities include project planning, cost development, and ensuring quality across the department.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license preferred and PE certification considered a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the work of a mechanical engineering team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Provide technical and management leadership, and coach/develop direct reports.
• Coordinate with senior management and HR for staffing needs and interviews.
• Plan, cost development, scheduling, and project management for assigned projects.
• Review quality and accuracy standards for the mechanical department and approve deliverables.
• Perform technical analysis and devise solutions for complex problems.
• Support business development activities and contribute to client proposals and presentations.
