Vardaspace in El Segundo, California, is offering a Mechanical Engineering Internship for students looking to work on impactful spaceflight projects. Interns will collaborate on design and analysis for spacecraft components in a fast-paced startup environment.
This full-time, on-site position is ideal for undergraduate or graduate students actively enrolled in engineering or physics programs. Interns will also receive guidance from experienced aerospace professionals, helping them grow technically and professionally.
Compensation includes an hourly rate of $33 and various benefits including a housing stipend.
Fall internships will range between the months of August and December. All dates dependent upon the university schedule of the selected students. Internships are full-time and on-site in Los Angeles, CA. To be considered for this internship, candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.
The Varda Mechanical Engineering Internship provides an opportunity to work on critical spaceflight hardware and ground support systems, contributing directly to our in‑space manufacturing and reentry missions. Interns will join a fast‑paced team environment, collaborating on design, analysis, and test efforts for both flight and non‑flight hardware.
