Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Intern in Mechanical Engineering to join our Salt Lake City team. You will support new product development and factory activities, collaborating with designers on CAD models and documentation.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related fields, with interest in analysis tools and structural design. This internship offers exposure to aerospace-grade hardware and a path toward professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science/Engineering or related field at an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for new product development activities and factory support of existing products.
• Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.
• Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECOs) as required.

Job Description:
