Heidelberg Materials is seeking an engineering intern in Fort Lauderdale, FL to support mechanical maintenance and reliability projects at a busy cement terminal.

You will assist with inspections, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis, collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to identify improvements while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. This is an in-person, summer internship with safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree or related engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with ability to analyze technical information and develop practical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.

Responsabilités

• Support mechanical maintenance and reliability projects to improve terminal equipment performance.
• Assist with inspections, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
