Job summary

ENERCON Federal Services (EFS) offers end-to-end engineering and environmental design support for DOE and NNSA projects. As a mechanical engineering intern in Kennesaw, GA, you will contribute to design and optimization of critical systems, gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an ABET-accredited degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) with coursework in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Materials Science, and Statics, and are available

Qualifications

Graduating with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET- accredited school in one of our listed preferred majors.
Preferred grad date between December 2027 and June 2028.
Available to start on an agreed upon date between May 2027 and June 2027.
Preferred Courses: Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Material Science, and Statics.
A solid working foundation with your major’s core concepts.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
Ability to effectively problem solve.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
Must be able to work outside.
Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.
