L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL is offering an Intern, Mechanical Engineering position. You will support both new product development activities and factory support of existing products, gaining hands-on experience in a defense tech environment.

You will work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and documentation, and you will generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECOs) as required.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field at an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products
• Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation
• Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECO’s) as required
