Job summary

JR Automation Technologies, LLC in Greenville, SC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern/Co-Op for a May through August 2027 term, onsite at our Greenville facility.

You will assist and support Mechanical Engineers, develop detail drawings, update CAD models, create DXF files, and collaborate with Applications, Controls, and Build teams on design, build, program, and deployment of automated equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college program pursuing an engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Detail drawing packages for Mechanical Engineers.
• Update CAD models based on redline drawings once machines have been built.
• Create dxf files for burnouts and internal/external machining.
• Assist with design, build, program, and deployment of custom automated equipment.
• Collaborate with vendors for sizing and quotations as needed.
• Check peer drawing packages.
