Based at our global headquarters in Houston, TX, the Mechanical Engineering Intern will support the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and equipment that enable advanced manufacturing and product development at MetOx. Working closely with experienced engineers, this role provides hands‑on exposure to engineering design, data analysis, and problem-solving in a fast‑paced technical environment. The intern will contribute to active engineering projects while gaining practical experience in mechanical design, equipment development, and cross‑functional collaboration within a cutting‑edge materials and manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Manager of Mechanical Engineering.
This is for the Spring 2027 semester.

This position requires sitting at a desk and viewing a computer screen for extended periods while working or performing other office tasks. Ability to move around the office, including occasional standing, walking, and bending to retrieve documents, attend meetings, or use office equipment. Some light lifting may be required, up to 20 lbs.
