Mechanical Engineering Expert (MSc. or PhD) Pay: $60–$120/hour Location: Global, fully remote Job Type: Contractor (~15 hours per week) Schedule: Flexible—you choose the hours and days you work, including weekends if desired We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Expert to contribute to an AI training project involving engineering design, physical modeling, simulation, technical problem-solving, and Python. The work involves creating, solving, reviewing, and validating engineering tasks across structural, thermal, mechanical, and multiphysics domains. A representative task may require translating physical requirements into a computational model, generating the required geometry or mesh, applying materials and boundary conditions, running an engineering simulation, and determining whether the resulting artifact and analysis satisfy the applicable physical and design constraints. This is a very coding heavy role. Candidates must have experience using coding agents in their workflow.
