Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Mid) to join the Technology Transfer Analysis Team in a defense-focused role. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance required with ability to obtain Counterintelligence polygraph.
Minimum of four (4) years of analysis experience relevant to Mechanical Engineer role.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is highly desired.
Knowledge of ICD 203 and DIA tradecraft guidance is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering or scientific analysis support for end-user assessments of U.S. export license applications.
Provide analysis support for Risk Assessments for Technology Transfer snapshots.
Provide analysis support for foreign investment assessments.
Provide TI analysis to identify and warn about emerging technologies potentially enabling next-gen foreign military capabilities.
Develop analytical approaches when data is incomplete or controversial.
Prepare extensive written assessments and disseminate information through reports and briefs.
Brief and defend analytical outcomes and coordinate with peers and customers.
