Teradyne's Defense & Aerospace division is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver electro‑mechanical solutions for advanced test systems supporting critical aerospace and defense applications. You will translate customer needs into manufacturable designs across new products and existing platforms.
You will lead cable, ITA, and test fixture design, develop CAD models, collaborate with systems engineering and suppliers, and validate designs through analysis, prototyping, and testing.

As a Mechanical Engineer in Teradyne’s Defense & Aerospace division, you will design and deliver custom electro‑mechanical solutions for advanced test systems supporting mission‑critical aerospace and defense applications. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to translate customer needs into robust, manufacturable designs across new product introductions and existing platforms.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a hands‑on engineering environment and enjoys solving complex design challenges.
We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $160,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
