Job summary

REEL USA Corp. in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a mechanical design engineer to join the design office. You will work with the Canada team to design, integrate, and implement major tailor-made equipment to meet strict customer specifications.

The role emphasizes mechanical design, 3D modeling, structural calculations, and development of technical documents. A PE license and knowledge of ASME standards are required, with Autocad/Inventor and other tools an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the design of structures or mechanically welded assemblies.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• Knowledge of ASME standards for design and fabrication.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Good knowledge of Autocad and Inventor software (an asset).
• Knowledge of STAAD, ANSYS, MATHCAD, S-FRAME software (an asset).
• Motivated, dynamic, creative and team player.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of equipment (mechanisms, structures, ergonomics, machine safety).

YOUR ROLE AT REEL USA

From Springfield and reporting functionaly to the Director of Engineering, you will work closely with the Design Office multidisciplinary team located in Canada on the design, integration, and implementation of major tailor-made mechanical equipment’s to the strictest specifications of our customers.
