Job summary

Dephy, Inc. is seeking a part-time mechanical engineer proficient in SolidWorks to produce production-ready drawings and assemblies. The contract is approximately 25 hours in total over 2–3 months, with remote work and eligibility for candidates anywhere in the US who operate through their own LLC, or must be MA-based if not LLC-based.

You will apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5, create 2D drawings from 3D models, manage basic assemblies, and collaborate with the team to revise designs as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks (part modeling, assemblies, drawings).
• Solid working knowledge of GD&T.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Portfolio of relevant work required with application.

Description of Role

We’re looking for a mechanical engineer proficient in SolidWorks to support our team on a short-term, part-time contract. You’ll produce production-ready drawings and assemblies, applying sound GD&T practices.

• Part-time contract, approximately 25 hours total

• Duration: 2–3 months

• Location Remote

  • Open to candidates anywhere in the US who work through their own LLC or business entity
  • Candidates not working through an LLC must be based in Massachusetts
