Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Serviceability in Foster City, CA. You will drive DFS by evaluating form, fit, function, and access, and collaborate with Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing, and Industrial Design to optimize serviceability.

You will develop service part release strategies and manage the Service BOM for spare parts planning. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 4–6 years of design/manufacturing experience, with strong 3D CAD skills; CATIA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of engineering experience in product design and manufacturing.
• Proven experience designing and developing products through their lifecycle.
• Strong skills in 3D CAD software; CATIA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Design for Serviceability (DFS) by evaluating form, fit, function, and access of products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product serviceability.
• Develop and maintain service part release strategies and manage the Service BOM for spare parts planning.
• Identify and provide tooling solutions to improve serviceability and maintainability.
• Perform evaluations to reduce costs, time, and motion in product servicing processes.
