What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager I, you will lead low to medium complexity projects to achieve Total Project Success—meeting scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives—while serving as the primary client contact and coordinating multi‑discipline teams. Every colleague has a voice and a stake in our success through our ESOP, and we are driven by our mission to make a positive difference for our clients, colleagues, and communities.

  • Confirm scope and requirements with clients and stakeholders with support from the CRM or Operations Director as needed.
  • Ensure contracts are fully executed by the appropriate Principal and align team to contractual obligations.
  • Develop proposals and help build financial plans; confirm staffing and preliminary man‑hour budgets with Senior PM/CRM/Operations.
  • Lead effective project kick‑offs to align scope, standards, budgets, roles, and expectations; foster ownership and trust.
  • Work with discipline leads to finalize work plans and detailed task‑hour budgets; update plans as conditions change.
  • Establish schedules with client input; set interim milestones for timely information flow and coordination.
  • Schedule and sequence work; communicate action items; monitor manpower requirements across disciplines and maintain profit variance within targets.
  • Maintain complete project documentation and organized storage so information is current and accessible.
  • Facilitate meetings with owners, clients, and architects; document decisions and follow‑ups.
  • Monitor budget and fee burn; recognize how hours charged impact revenue and forecasts; identify and process additional services as needed.
  • Prepare and implement proactive QA/QC plans; coordinate timely reviews and submittals to meet standards.
  • Identify risks to quality, schedule, or financial goals; analyze root causes, propose mitigation, and elevate when needed.
  • Oversee Construction Administration to support conformance of installed systems with design intent and quality standards.
  • Ensure accurate invoices are issued promptly; track AR status and update projected monthly revenue.
  • Supervise close‑out: punchlist coordination, documentation, filings, lessons learned, and project archive.
  • Engage in ongoing training; deepen technical discipline knowledge and project leadership skills; support business development with existing clients.
