Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years designing mission-critical mechanical hardware that has been built and tested.
• Track record of taking parts from concept through DFM, first article, qualification, and serial production.
• Strong analytical foundation and experience in FEA.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design of structures and mechanisms from concept through qualified hardware.
• Drive geometry, packaging, and load paths for required loads and shock.
• Run structural analysis including hand calcs and FEA.
• Plan environmental and structural test campaigns.

Skills

CAD fluency in NX

Analytical foundation in statics, dynamics, vibrations

Hands-on experience qualifying hardware to MIL-STD-810

Machining and composite fabrication skills

Education

BS/MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
