Job summary

Hargrove EPC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to perform complete designs for varied projects under general supervision. You will develop layouts, perform calculations, and coordinate with vendors and drafting teams to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

The ideal candidate has a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years of industrial experience, and PE registration is preferred. On-site work with cross-disciplinary collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer registration is highly preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete mechanical design for small to large projects under general supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies; produce preliminary designs and material take-offs.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure conformance to drawings and specs.
• Provide field support, data collection, and tie-in checks for project execution.
• Assist drafting group with layout problems and provide necessary sketches and details.
