Job summary

ENFRA LLC in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Engineer PE II to apply standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies. This full-time role reports to the Engineering Director and requires a PE license and a bachelor's degree in engineering.

Responsibilities include signing and sealing documents, leading projects, visiting sites, and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and PE license required.

Overview

The Mechanical Engineer PE II

Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Designs and drafts blueprints, visits systems in the field and manages projects.
• Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.
• Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
• Handles the most complex issues.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. May act as a lead or first-level supervisor.
• Direct interaction with clients.

This position is Full-Time, Exempt, and reports to the Engineering Director.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• 6-8 years of experience.
• Possesses expert knowledge of the subject matter.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering.

Travel Requirement

• 5-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

• Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.
• Climbing stairs.
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Operating machinery and/or power tools.
• Outdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind.
• Noisy environment.
• Light to heavy work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects from 20-100 pounds.

Pay Range

USD $118,625.00 - USD $152,660.00 /Yr.
