Job summary

CSA Group in San Juan, Puerto Rico is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems for projects. You will prepare permitting documents, perform site surveys, and create Trane Trace-based cooling/heating load calculations.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10-15 years of design experience for HVAC systems
• Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineer License preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with Trane Trace 700 or Trace 3D plus (for the cooling/heating loads calculations).
• Capable of writing reports on HVAC systems and designs.
• Curiosity and interest in continuous learning in AI and comfort experimenting and iterating quickly; uses data to validate ideas and measure impact.
• Commitment to ethical and responsible AI adoption, including privacy-by-design and safe use of tools.
