Job summary

Mack Studios in Auburn, NY is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to turn creative design concepts into production-ready exhibits, retail fixtures, and experiential displays. This onsite role mixes design, fabrication, and installation with hands-on problem solving on the production floor.

You’ll work with wood, metal, plastics, and specialty components, creating shop drawings, BOMs, and CNC files for manufacture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on engineering in custom fabrication, millwork, or exhibits.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Mastercam is required.
• Experience with wood, metal fabrication, and on-site production is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-ready engineering for custom exhibits and displays.
• Create detailed shop drawings, BOMs, and fabrication packages.
• Engineer components using wood, metal, plastics, and specialty materials.
• Create CNC programs for wood and metal fabrication.
