Tutor Perini Corporation, in a Frontier-Kemper-Tutor Perini joint venture, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support design, development, analysis, and field implementation for the Manhattan Tunnel Project in New York, NY. The role requires collaboration with project teams, vendors, and site personnel to deliver robust mechanical systems for heavy civil construction.

Ideal candidates will have strong CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit), 5+ years in related industries, and demonstrated

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of mechanical engineering experience in construction, industrial, infrastructure, or related fields.
Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Excellent verbal and written communication; strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and equipment per project requirements and codes.
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
Perform mechanical analyses (stress, thermal, hydraulic, reliability).
Review plans and shop drawings for design compliance.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support procurement and vendor evaluations.
