Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering or equivalent related work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of CAD/3D modeling experience (SolidWorks preferred) and MATLAB.
• Recent grads with mechatronics focus encouraged; include robotics team or project work.
• Knowledge of programmable controls, digital communications, or microprocessors desirable.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and troubleshoot mechanical systems from design to manufacturing.
• Support liaison between design and production teams.
• Assist with prototype assembly and testing; ensure quality designs.
• Document and update assembly/test procedures for handoff to production.
• Provide customer support for new product introductions; travel as needed.
• Utilize Yaskawa software and third-party tools to control electromechanical systems.
• Apply advanced theories and research to solve complex problems.
