Job summary

Selectek in Salt Lake City is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with mining industry experience to design piping, material handling, crushing circuits and HVAC systems for heavy industrial projects. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 5+ years of related experience.
Experience in mining sector piping and design, including process and mechanical symbols.
Ability to direct work of other design staff in a team environment; project experience from concept to commissioning.

Responsibilities

Design piping systems, material handling, crushing circuits and HVAC for heavy industrial projects.
Develop equipment and material specifications, bid evaluation and selection.
Lead and coordinate design engineers, drafters and technicians on assigned projects.
Ensure QA of drawings, specifications and calculations to meet standards and project goals.
