Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs, providing technical solutions, and delivering exceptional services, acting as a primary point of contact for clients including addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing project updates
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams that include an array of stakeholders’ requests, concerns, and needs to create actionable plans for continuous improvement in client environments
- Evaluate, monitor, and advise on large commercial HVAC systems including chiller plants, DX and chilled water air handling systems, fan coils, VAV units and other HVAC equipment commonly used in commercial office buildings and data centers
- Apply HVAC mechanical engineering and building automation experience to collect and analyze building system data and offer expert insights and recommendations to enhance system efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness
- Proactively anticipate client needs, identify risks/blockers to project success, and demonstrate a solution-oriented approach to challenging situations
- Take ownership of relevant project scope – participate in gameplan/backlog development with appropriate client stakeholders, adapt action plans as needed, and provide oversight for junior engineers completing scope work
- Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices in mechanical engineering
- Additional contributions as assigned
Education and Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Washington and/or California Professional Engineers (PE) License

- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in building infrastructure projects as well as working with Commercial HVAC systems and building automation systems.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics and data visualization
