Job summary

Above Group, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, process and utility systems in healthcare-focused projects.

You will apply design criteria, interpret scopes, and mentor junior staff. The role emphasizes collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, development of CAD models in Revit/AutoCAD, and delivering high-quality engineering documentation from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Graduated engineer from ABET-accredited institution.
• Experience with HVAC, mechanical, plumbing and utility systems.
• Healthcare facilities experience and central plant infrastructure a plus.
• Ability to mentor subordinate staff and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Process, and Utility Engineering efforts.
• Lead and mentor team members to expand capabilities.
• Execute engineering and design duties to ensure quality products.
• Design layout of distribution systems and equipment locations.
• Review shop drawings and perform field verifications.
