Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical preferred).
  • 5+ years’ on-the-job experience with mechanical drawings, prototype design and testing, materials management, and product hardware management.
  • Experience coordinating teams, guiding projects, and mentoring in mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary matrix environment and communicate effectively.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrates system-level thinking and integration mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Design, machine, build, test, and maintain complex machinery for medical isotopes.
  • Collaborate with designers, machinists, physicists, and engineers across departments to advance projects.
  • Translate concepts into practical engineering solutions in a regulated environment.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.
