Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of mechanical design experience.
• Experience with 3D modeling, drawings, and tolerance stack-ups.
• Strong verbal and written technical communication.
• Experience working on interdisciplinary engineering/design teams.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of interdisciplinary engineering and product development teams to design medical devices and de-risk technologies.
• Perform mechanical design of devices and test fixtures, and assist in testing/troubleshooting.
• Provide level of effort estimates to support project managers for schedules and budgets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal mechanical engineering processes.
• Participate in client meetings and proposal content generation.
• Travel to client sites across the US (a few times per year).
• On-site work at Baltimore office at least 3 days per week, with some home office flexibility.
