Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with focus on solid mechanics and machine design.
• Strong intuition in mechanics and strength of materials.
• Hands-on fabrication and lab skills; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with engineers, managers, clients, and reports.
• Conduct hands-on failure analysis and planning of experiments.
• Plan and execute laboratory tests and measurements.
• Perform calculations and mechanical analyses.
• Perform field inspections as needed.
• Support other engineering groups and senior staff in project development.
