Consolidated Nuclear Security is seeking an ENG Student Intern - Mechanical Engineer for the Y-12 Engineering group in Oak Ridge, TN. The 10–12 week summer internship offers challenging assignments, projects, and workshops to build professional skills while supporting national security missions.

You will work with a team across disciplines, contribute to design and analysis tasks, and gain experience through practical projects aligned with your degree and interests.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed degree in Engineering or physical science from ABET-accredited program in the United States or equivalents from Canada or Mexico, the Washington Accord, or ABET-substantially equivalent lists.

Responsibilities

• Eng internship across engineering disciplines, including Mechanical Engineering, with meaningful assignments and projects.
• Participate in career development workshops and gain exposure to national security missions.
