Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. seeks a hands-on Mechanical Engineering intern to design and release fixtures for pilot builds in a fast-paced environment. You’ll contribute to documentation, training content, and post-launch support for NPI projects.

You will collaborate with ME/EE/SW/Manufacturing teams to debug issues, manage drawings, and drive ECO processes to ensure scalable, safe, and robust tooling solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
• Hands-on hardware collaboration in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and release fixtures and tooling for pilot builds.
• Create and update documentation and training content for NPI.
• Collaborate with ME/EE/SW/Manufacturing to debug build issues.
• Drive part numbers, drawings, revisions, and ECO processes.
