Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) invites you to join our Boston team as a Mechanical Engineer Intern – Energy & Utilities for Summer 2027. You’ll contribute to energy-efficient building projects and gain hands-on experience with expert engineers.

You’ll learn through mentorship, exposed to high-impact projects across healthcare, science and technology sectors, and build skills for a future in engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering program from ABET accredited school.
• Completed 3 years of coursework or have a junior standing.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist design for energy-efficient building solutions.
• Support project teams on complex mechanical systems.
