Job summary

Trek Bikes in Waterloo, WI is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Interconnected Products Team. You will help develop hardware for production and R&D projects, focusing on consumer electronics like enclosures, displays, connectors, and small mechanisms.

Use CAD (SolidWorks / Onshape) to create 3D models and 2D drawings, apply GD&T, run DFMEA, and plan tests. You’ll prototype, test, and manage documentation in a PLM system while coordinating across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years in product development for consumer electronics.
• Experience with plastics design, manufacturing constraints, and sealing/fastening.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to develop hardware for production and R&D projects.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings with GD&T using CAD software.
• Prototype, test, and document designs through PLM system.
