Job summary

A leading robotics firm in Austin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of advanced robotic systems for military applications. You will work on conceptual and detailed designs of electro-mechanical systems and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in R&D environments. Proficiency in Solidworks and strong mechanical design skills are essential for this onsite role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent experience designing mechanical system elements including electromechanical systems and/or robotics.
• Strong mechanical design and integration skills using 3D CAD tools.
• Experience in R&D product development environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute in the development of a robotic platform for terrestrial construction applications.
• Design and create prototypes using in‑house and external fabrication.
• Provide hands‑on, troubleshooting, and build support in a fast‑paced environment.
