Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II in Los Angeles to develop and document HVAC system designs for energy-efficient buildings. You will interpret design criteria and basis of design from various inputs, and apply code research to support client projects.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of HVAC design experience, a BSAE/BSME, and a PE license or the ability to obtain one, with strong skills in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• BSAE/BSME required.
• 3+ years’ experience designing HVAC building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
• PE License or ability to become licensed.
• Proficiency with engineering design software (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Expertise of our most successful Mechanical Engineer II:

• BSAE or BSME required.
• 3+ years’ experience designing HVAC building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
• PE License or ability to become licensed.
• Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
