Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years experience designing and testing medical devices.
  • SolidWorks or other CAD experience required.
  • Analytical design, Design for Six Sigma or similar tool set preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team and in a fast paced changing environment with strong communication.
  • Willingness to travel including internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Design sub-assemblies to meet design goals and specifications.
  • Use analysis to evaluate designs and develop tests.
  • Develop test methods and models for validation.
  • Identify and mitigate sub-assembly risks and support invent disclosures.
  • Collaborate with vendors to obtain prototypes and understand capabilities.
