Job summary

Medical Manufacturing Technologies in Pennsauken, NJ is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to join our team and contribute to design, testing, and continuous improvement projects from day one.

You will work with experienced engineers on precision grinding and guidewire manufacturing equipment, applying SolidWorks and GD&T in real-world applications while collaborating across functions to bring concepts to the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on design experience with machine tooling is a plus.
• SolidWorks experience required; CSWP/CSWE preferred.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14.5-2009 and GD&T principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop new designs and documentation drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5-2009 and GD&T standards, using SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM.
• Support manufacturing efforts of machinery and tooling.
• Provide technical support to field service technicians and customers as needed.
• Create and maintain bills of material (BOM) in the ERP system.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with senior engineers, production, and quality to bring solutions from concept to the shop floor.
