Raytheon is seeking a mechanical design engineer to design and document hardware for rapid prototyping and product development in a fast-paced program environment.

The role involves creating and releasing drawings, incorporating design changes, and supporting additive manufacturing workflows while coordinating with suppliers and performing 3D scanning and prototype testing.

Formación

• Requires bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD, GD&T, drawings, and Microsoft Office.
• U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance required.

Descripción del empleo

Design and document mechanical hardware for rapid prototyping and product development, including creating and releasing drawings and incorporating design changes. Support additive manufacturing workflows, coordinate with suppliers, perform 3D scanning, and manage prototype requests through fabrication, integration, and testing.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in engineering, aerospace, engineering science, mathematics, or another engineering discipline is required by the start date. Candidates must be familiar with 3D CAD modeling, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, mechanical fabrication and assembly drawings, and Microsoft Office; U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are also required.
