Overview

Summary The Mechanical Engineer I performs routine engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.

Summary The Mechanical Engineer I performs routine engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering in form of models, drawings, feasibility studies, technical reports, design calculations etc.
• Assignments are screened and have clear and specific objectives and require a limited number of variables.
• Working in teams with other engineers and designers, perform tasks where limited exercise of judgement is required on details of work and when making selections and adaptations of alternatives.
• Interfaces with individuals within or outside the engineering team.
• Adheres to engineering and development policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent operations within the engineering teams.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Technical, problem-solving and communication skills
