Job summary

A leading mechanical services provider in Atlanta is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, perform load calculations, and ensure compliance with engineering standards. This role offers a supportive environment for growth and comprehensive benefits. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC design and development.
• In-process of obtaining Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
• Registered Professional Engineer or plans to take the exam within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering scope for projects with Senior Engineers.
• Perform detailed load calculations and interpret results.
• Develop HVAC documents including duct and pipe sizing.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic PC experience in Windows environments

Ability to represent professionally in meetings

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology

Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification

Revit® 2018 (or higher)
