Job summary

International Thermal Systems is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design heat processing and cleaning equipment under the Engineering Manager. You will perform routine to advanced design tasks, lead mechanical activities on projects, and ensure structural integrity through analysis and testing.

The role requires a Bachelor in Mechanical/Structural Engineering, 3–5 years of experience, and proficiency with SolidWorks/Inventor/AutoCAD. Knowledge of NFPA/NEC/UL/CE/OSHA and FEA/CFD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of related Mechanical/Structural design experience.
• Experience with Engineered-To-Order equipment a plus.
• Proficient in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD).
• FEA/CFD experience a plus; basic 2D CAD skills.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics and fluid flow.
• Familiar with NFPA/NEC/UL/CE/OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare final drawings by studying sketches and specs, layout the system, and depict relationships of components.
• Serve as mechanical technical lead on intermediate projects with CAD tools.
• Oversee work of other engineers/designers as needed.
• Plan and organize structural analysis to ensure integrity and stability.
• Develop test plans, support test execution, and validate systems meet requirements.
