Job summary

Insight Global's Industrial Engineering client, specializing in custom conveyor systems design, commissioning, and integration, is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer in Aurora, CO.

You will design, lay out, and detail mechanical components, maintain project drawings, and learn from tenured engineers. There may be travel to customer sites during intake and installation. The position is contract-to-hire after six months of paid training, with opportunities for internal advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with GPA 3.5+.
• 0-2 years drafting/design experience using Revit, MicroStation, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.
• Willing to undergo a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Create designs for mechanical equipment; design, lay out and detail components and systems.
• Maintain project drawing files, read shop drawings, and prepare submittal documentation.
• On-the-job training; occasional travel to customer sites during intake and installations.

Insight Global's Industrial Engineering client specializing in custom conveyor systems design, commissioning, and integration is looking for an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding design team. This team hires engineers with the goal of improving their professional skillsets in drafting, design, and project execution. You will be given the opportunity to learn and advance at the pace you set for yourself. You will work with tenured engineers who have a deep level of knowledge, as well as various Entry and Mid-level Mechanical Engineers at or near the same level as yourself. Ideal candidates are recent engineering graduates from Colorado School of Mines or another similar engineering program with less than 2 years of experience and a GPA of 3.5+.

This individual will be creating designs for mechanical equipment and will design, lay out and detail components and systems. Additional duties include maintaining project drawing files, read shop drawing, and prepare submittal documentation. On the job training will be heavily incorporated to ensure growth of your career. There is also an option to travel to customer sites during product intake and installations, should you choose to do so.

This is a contract-to-hire position that will become permanent after 6 months of paid training. This company only promotes internally, leaving plenty of room for advancement. Candidates must pass a drug test and background check.
