Mission Technologies, a division of HII, designs, prototypes, and tests mechanical assemblies for Navy Part Task Trainer systems, including sheet metal work, fixtures, and motion systems. The team validates designs through analysis and simulation and collaborates with engineering to meet Navy requirements.

The role requires advanced degrees or equivalent experience, hands-on CAD and drafting skills, and a focus on hardware integration, maintenance, and documentation for reliable training

Qualificações

• Requires a related bachelor’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience, or a related master’s degree with 7 years, or a related PhD or Juris Doctorate with 4 years.
• Candidates need Autodesk Inventor, CAD/TDP, fabrication drawing, and hardware support experience, including installation, maintenance, fault isolation, repair, and documentation.

Design, model, prototype, manufacture, and test mechanical assemblies and components for Navy Part Task Trainer systems, including sheet metal work, fixtures, structural supports, motion systems, and thermal management. Integrate and maintain training-system hardware, validate designs through analysis and simulation, and collaborate with engineering teams to meet Navy requirements.
