Job summary

TYG is expanding its Dallas presence with a brand-new office, seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to lead regional growth in MEP for complex facilities. The role offers immediate responsibility, collaboration across disciplines, and opportunities to shape project execution in a fast-growing market.

The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree, 3–7 years of design experience, proficiency with Revit, and familiarity with CFD.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
• 37 years of mechanical design experience
• Experience with data centers, healthcare, laboratories, pharmaceutical, or industrial facilities is a plus
• E.I.T. preferred; PE or progress toward licensure is a plus
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and CFD is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for complex facilities
• Support fire protection and controls engineering
• Perform load, ventilation, airflow, equipment, and system calculations
• Apply applicable building codes and engineering standards
• Develop coordinated construction drawings and technical documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders
• Communicate project requirements, schedules, and technical issues
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
