Qualifications

• Specialized experience: review mechanical engineering plans and contractor submittals for basic compliance.
• Monitor Civil Works/Military projects by on-site observations and report progress.
• Prepare technical data to support construction contract modifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inspections of civil/military projects to monitor progress per plans, specs and cost.
• Review construction plans and specifications to establish inspection requirements and schedules.
• Provide engineering support for construction contract modifications.

Education

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in engineering/related field (engineering technology, physics, etc.)
