Job summary

G2 Technologies, Inc. seeks a mechanical design engineer to design and develop automated inspection, measurement, and test systems in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area.

Responsibilities include component selection, solid modeling, drawings, testing, troubleshooting, and client interaction throughout system integration. The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering (or related) with 5+ years of mechanical design experience and SolidWorks proficiency.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related degree (equivalent experience considered).
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks is required.
• Fixture design experience is highly desirable.
• Willingness to propose alternative solutions and improvements.
• Must interact well with clients during all phases of system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated inspection, measurement and test systems.
• Generate engineering drawings, bills of material and documentation.
• Interact with client teams throughout the system integration process.
• Support project teams and ensure schedule adherence and quality.
