Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. in Virginia is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to design and review HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems, and to prepare scopes, specifications, and bid packages.

You will oversee construction, repair, and retrofit work; coordinate contractors and field teams; and support facilities operations, maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and asset documentation. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 7+ years of experience are required; a PE license is preferred and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design, project execution, or facilities engineering.
• Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, construction management, relevant design and engineering software, and applicable codes.
• PE license preferred; eligibility to obtain Top Secret clearance is required.
