Work on projects supporting research, development, testing, and manufacturing operations. This hybrid / on-site role supports design requirements and construction documents for complex manufacturing tools, tenant improvements, and facility infrastructure upgrades in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and lay out wet and dry piping, equipment, HVAC, exhaust, fire suppression, process chemical piping, and gases for complex industrial facilities.
• Develop engineering calculations; size, select, and specify equipment and components.
• Retrofit existing building systems to support tool installation.
• Support construction and integration into the factory.
• Develop utility requirement documents and installation design packages with design teams, equipment owners, stakeholders, and tool manufacturers.
• Work with clients and contractors throughout design; assist with RFIs and submittals during construction.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• At least 3 years of practical mechanical facilities engineering experience, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related systems.
• Engineer in Training (EIT), actively pursuing a Professional Engineer (PE) license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2 years of experience with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools through their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms.
• Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Strong written/verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Forward-thinking approach; eager to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and broaden knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across varied teams, including multidisciplinary design teams.
• Passion for buildings and construction.
• At least 1 year of field experience in an industrial facility.

WORK ARRANGEMENT

On-site at the assigned client site, Monday-Friday during normal business hours, nominally 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with some flexibility based on site support and employee preference.
Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Field visits and walks at an active construction site.
• Must be able to walk long distances; sit and stand for extended periods; bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks and in small spaces; and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.

WORK AUTHORIZATION

Must be fully authorized to work for any client in the United States without sponsorship. Sponsorship is not available.
Employment requires completion of a background check and drug screen.
