Job summary

Dexcom Inc. is seeking a Process Development specialist to drive experiments and characterization for product development in the CGM space. You will help translate concepts into scalable manufacturing processes while building PPx capability across teams.

The role requires a solid foundation in an engineering or materials science field, experience planning DOE-style studies, and strong data interpretation skills. Collaboration across design, quality, reliability, and manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 2–5 years related experience, or Master's degree with 0–2 years equivalent experience.
  • Ability to plan and execute experiments with strong attention to detail.
  • Apply basic statistical methods and draw clear conclusions from data.

Responsibilities

  • Execute process development experiments and characterization studies to support product development.
  • Support development of precision processes for adhesives, epoxies, and soft materials.
  • Follow structured experimental methodologies (e.g., DOE) to generate data and improve process understanding.
  • Analyze and document experimental results, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to defining process inputs, outputs, and performance metrics under guidance.
  • Support QMS- and PDP-compliant documentation, protocols, and reports.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, reliability, and manufacturing teams to execute development plans.
  • Apply PPx tools to improve process robustness and repeatability.

Meet the team:

You will join Dexcom’s Product Development organization, where we drive innovation in continuous glucose monitoring through advanced materials, process engineering, and device design. This role sits within design realization, translating early concepts into robust, scalable manufacturing processes while building foundational capability in Product & Process Excellence (PPx).

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 2 - 5 years related experience or Master's degree and 0-2 years' equivalent experience.
