Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5–7 years of mechanical engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design, systems, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems and identifying root causes.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and test mechanical devices, systems, and components.
  • Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and technical documentation to determine feasibility, cost, and timelines.
  • Support manufacturing processes by ensuring designs meet production and performance requirements.
  • Investigate equipment failures and operational issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Assist drafters and design teams in developing structural and mechanical designs using engineering tools and software.
  • Create and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical reports.
