Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Revit, engineering modeling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering calculations and develop mechanical system designs in compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
  • Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and engineering drawings.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, architects, and other engineering disciplines throughout the design process.
  • Participate in project planning, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and manpower estimates.
  • Review engineering designs for accuracy, constructability, coordination, and quality assurance.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to designers and junior engineers.
  • Mentor team members and support their professional development.
  • Communicate with clients regarding project requirements, design solutions, and project progress.
  • Resolve technical challenges through sound engineering judgment and practical application of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Perform final design reviews prior to project completion.
  • Support additional engineering and project-related duties as assigned.

Job Description
